Elizabeth Stewart Dominick

Elizabeth Stewart "Liz" Dominick, 94, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. Born in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. Stewart. She was also predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Esmond L. "Buster" Dominick, Jr., and by her daughter, Judy Conboy. Along with her husband Buster, Liz was a co-owner and operator of Central Wholesale Supply Corp., which became a major wholesale building supplier in Norfolk, Richmond, and Roanoke. After living in Chesapeake for two decades, she and Buster moved to Moyock, NC. In her retirement years, she enjoyed living on the farm. Survivors include her children, Lester Dominick and wife Michelle, and Steve Dominick; a son-in-law, Steve Conboy; grandchildren, Michelle Waring, Ryan Conboy, Madison Dominick, Maggie Dominick and Dylan Dominick; great-grandchildren, Jake Waring, Sims Waring, Graham Conboy and Will Conboy. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. The interment will be private in Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA.
