Passed away peacefully at the Mayfield Retirement Residence in Prescott, Ontario on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Thalmann. Loving mother of Margrit Keeler (Eric), Elisabeth McWalter (Graham Cummings) and Sylvia Johnston (Bill). Dear grandmother of Christopher and James Keeler. Sadly missed by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Survived by brothers Karl Beutler, Hans Beutler, and Margrit Kappeler all living in Switzerland. Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Beatrice Thalmann, her grandson Richard Keeler, and her sister Frieda Ferschen. The family are grateful for the kind and loving care Ruth received by the staff of Mayfield and for their thoughtfulness to the family.
