Earl Smith, 60, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on March 07, 2020. Born on July 07, 1959 in Wilmington, North Carolina, to the late Earlie Smith Jr., and Bettie (Williams) Smith Goode. Earl graduated Middleton High School, was a previous Surgical Technician and worked in various other roles at St. Francis Hospital and later owned and operated two hair salons, B and E Strands and Salon Estila in West Ashley. Earl was passionate about life, including his love for horses, his pets, gardening, floral arranging, love for the arts including painting, music, and entertaining. Many will remember Earl for his attention to detail, creativity and for always being the life of the party. Earl had a huge heart and loved to give and serve others. Earl will be sorely missed by many, including his sisters Angie High (Dan), Jeanne Smith, and Sara Stello (Eddie) all of Charleston, SC, nieces and nephews including Wesley High (Susan), Garret High (Kelley), Zach Stello, Chandler Stello, Logan Stello, two great nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston.
