Edith R. Mammarella
Edith R. Mammarella, 99, of Coatesville died Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of Vincent Mammarella, who preceded her in death in 1997. Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Oreste and Elizabeth Fabiucci Catena. She was employed as a manager of the ladies department with J. C. Penney’s in Coatesville for 35 years. Edith was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and the Congrega. She also volunteered at the Brandywine Hospital and was a member of the West End Fire Co. Auxiliary. Surviving her is a son, Joseph (Donna) Mammarella of Coatesville; a daughter, Elaine Mammarella of Nottingham; a sister, Helen Peacock of Media and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kennett Square. In her memory, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church at the above address.September 4, 1916 - February 5, 201609/04/191602/05/2016
