Porter, Mary (Petten) Passed peacefully away in the arms of her loving family on Sunday, February 12, 2012, of Church Road, Foxtrap. Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 yrs Noah, parents Henry &Jessie Petten, 1 baby grandson, brothers Wilson (Jean), Isaac (Lena), Wallace (Dorothy) Henry, George, sisters, Lucy Boren (Bill) and Jessie Sherman. Leaving with loving memories her seven sons Henry (Ella), Joe (Loretta), Noah (Claudine), Steve (Barb), Wallace (Pam), Gordon (Lola) and Stanley, seven daughters, Enid (Gordon)Haines, Aura (Jerry) Farrell, Joan (Ches) Dawe, Alice (Dave) Oake, Lucy (Tony) De Hann, Fannie (Dave) Petten, Christina (Sam) Butler, 40 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 1 great - great grandson, 4 sisters, Joan Jefford, Laura Butler, Violet Barnes (Ted), Evelyn Dunn (Larry), 3 brothers Les, Stanley (Margaret), Hayden (June), 4 sisters-in-law Mattie Jefford, Abby Dawe, Jean Petten, Alma Petten, 1 brother-in-law Gary Sherman. Large number of nephews, nieces, and extended family. Special niece Loretta O’Brien and special friends Ada and Edward Porter, David and Krista Burrows and members of All Saints Church and ACW. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday 3 – 9 pm,Tuesday 10 – 9 pm, Wednesday 10 – 12 noon. Funeral service in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap. No flowers by request , donations in her memory may be made to All Saints Church Restoration Fund.
