Robert L. Williams, 79, Camby, passed away December 12, 2015, at Plainfield Health Care. Mr. Williams was born April 24, 1936, in Celina, Tennessee, to the late Fred C. and Clara Belle (Arms) Williams. A hardworking man, Robert worked as a butcher for many years. He was with Stark & Wetzel, Rath Packing Company, and retired from Kroger in 1999. Mr. Williams was a member of the Decatur Township Church of Christ. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to garden and took great pride in giving his harvest to friends, neighbors, and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey Marie (Partain) Williams; brother, R.C. Williams and Paul J. Williams; sister, Beulah Emerton. Survivors include his children, Robert Doyle Williams (Cheryl) of Mooresville, Kathy Fleener of Clermont, and David Fred Williams (Kathy) of Mooresville; sisters, Claudine Langford of Tennessee and Betty Butler (Doug) of Clayton; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren. Friends and family will gather to celebrate and honor the life of Robert Williams from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the funeral home. Mike Willis will officiate, and burial will be in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
