Curtis A. Jorgensen, age 72, of LaValle, passed away on June 18, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Madison following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Trudy (Gertrude) Jorgensen of LaValle; mother, Leatrice Jorgensen; sisters, Karen (John) Ralph and Patti (Dan) Hilger all of Antigo; and a brother, Carl (Maureen) Jorgensen of Iowa; sisters,-in-law, Kathy (James) Nelson of Racine, and Jayne Rau of Oak Creek; along with nieces, nephews and friends. Curtis loved his family which included: Harley, Shayla, Annie, Keiko, and Sweetie. He enjoyed stock car racing, motorcycles, reading, Blues music, and collecting all things related to wolves. He was preceded in death by his father; birth mother; grandparents; father and mother-in-law; and brother-in-law. A memorial service for Curtis Jorgensen will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in LaValle, with Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Visitation will be held the same day from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the church. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
