Albert R. Canuel, Sr., 71, of Fall River, entered into rest Sunday, November 6, 2016. A member of Diman Regional Vocational High School, Class of 1963, he was employed by the former Aime Pelletier Electrical Contractors and Cranston Print Works. He was Past Grand Knight and Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Plant Engineers Association of Massachusetts. He leaves a son, Alfred R. "Freddie" Canuel, Jr. and his wife Lucy of Westport; twin grandchildren, Mitchell W. and Gwenyth R. Canuel; a brother, Edward G. Canuel of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Sharon (Hurley) Canuel of Fall River; the son of the late George and Nalda (Bisson) Canuel and the brother of the late Gilbert Canuel. His funeral will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 12:00 noon. Visitation, Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
