Gertrude Irene McRae, 86, of the 300 block of Lakeside Drive, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 in her residence. She was a native of Niagara Falls, NY and was raised in Sutton, West Ontario, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. McRae; a son, Michael McRae; a brother, David Newton; and two grandchildren, Sean and Amy McRae.Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Gallette and husband Rusty; three sons, John K. McRae, George R. McRae and wife Patricia and Jim W. McRae and wife Mona; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 14, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by the Rev. Terry Riddle
