MaryAnn Moreau a long time resident of Hemet, Ca died in the comfort of her home with family at her side on February 17, 2012. MaryAnnn was born on May 20, 1918 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Dominic and Anna Wipfli and was one of 11 children. She graduated from the School of Nursing at Marquette University in 1939 and worked as RN at Misercordia Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She married Loren A. Moreau in August 1942 and together they had 5 children; Michael (Gloria), Larry (Dolly), Steve (Anne), Kathy (Randy) and Roger. MaryAnn and Loren lived in Los Angeles in 1944 to 1955, in Inglewood in 1955 to 1965 prior to moving to Hemet in 1965. MaryAnn was active in the Hemet Hospital auxiliary, Community Builders and Chatter Bells, as well as the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, where Loren was the Grand Knight of the Los Angeles Council. She enjoyed jazzercise at the Hemet Racket Ball Club and line dancing well into her late 80’s. MaryAnn is survived by her 5 children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Rosary services will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on March 9, 2012 at 10:00A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to; Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc. & Ramona VNA and Hospice at 890 W.
