Bishop Thomas John Matthew Hezekiah Weeks was the eleventh and youngest child born to Abraham and Grace Weeks on the island of Monserrat, British West Indies, June 1, 1916.

Bishop Weeks’ marriage of 69 years to his one and only, lovely wife, Evangelist Susan Weeks who also preceded him in death on May 22, 2010 rewarded them with a beautiful family. He leaves to cherish his legacy:

his children, Vincent Allen, John (May), Thomas (Leona), Joyce (Leo) Smith, Victor (Betty), Gwendolyn, and Eric; grandchildren, Monica, Juel, Thomas III (Christina), Azeez , Leo III (Aimie) and Susan Smith, Sarah (Lorenzo) Elliot, Victor Jr., Emily, and Samuel; great grandchildren, Tatiana, Leo IV, and Morgan Smith, Sydnie, Badia, Zion, Vanessa and Phillip Weeks, Joshua and Lorianna Elliot; sisters-in-law, Florence Weeks, Dorothy Kirnon, Irene Paris, Gertude Allen, Edith Daly, and Ruby Bramble, Wilemina, Violet, and Wilma Wade; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grand and great grand nieces and nephews, his church family, and numerous friends.

There will be a Wake on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Bethel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 100 Esmond Street, Boston, MA 02121.

Saturday, July 6, 2013 A Viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O’clock at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA.

Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, MA
