Age 83, of Sunnyside Retirement Community of Harrisonburg, VA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011. Bob retired from the DuPont CO. in 1986. He was a member of the Wilmington Power Squadron. Bob was the son of the late Clarence and Helen Buchanan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janice Buchanan. A Memorial Service will be at 12 noon on Thursday, September 1 at Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church, 101 Old Kennett Road. Bob's family will greet those in attendance immediately after the Memorial. Private burial will be at 11:30 AM in the Church Cemetery.
