We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Enid Veronica Johnson (nee Russell) She was a beloved mother, grand mother, great grandmother & great great grandmother. She was a friend to all whose lives she touched. Enid left us peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her residence at Maynard Nursing Home in Toronto in her 88th year. Born in St. Ann, Jamaica, she moved to Canada in 1970 to join two of her sisters who already resided in the city. She worked in the hotel industry and in the nursing field as a support worker for many years. Well dressed for every occasion, she will always be remembered for how classy she looked with a , pretty shawl and clip on earrings. Enid is survived by her daughter Lorna Haye and husband Winston Haye. In Lieu of Flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
