Michael Albert Sharp of Baltimore, MD was born on January 1st, 1948, in West Chester, PA departed this life peacefully on December 4th, 2014. Michael was the son of the late John A. Sharp, II and Irene Jackson Sharp. He is survived by his Family, Jacqueline E. Sharp, daughter Ursula A. Sharp, and grandson, Gabriel Q. Sharp, his brother Eric Sharp, sister J. Louise Goodwin, his longtime partner Andrea Gilmore and a host of friends and relatives. Michael was preceded in death by his brothers John A. Sharp, II, Cecil F. Sharp, and sister Joanne Prigg. Michael served in the United States Army with overseas duty in Germany. Upon returning home he was employed briefly at Lukens Steel. Michael retired from Verizon after several decades of service and relocated to Baltimore, MD. He will always be fondly remembered for his love of automobiles, especially Camaros, westerns, war movies, and seafood. Over the past decade Michael enjoyed his retirement by staying close to home, caring for others, and building close relationships with his friends in Baltimore. He will be greatly missed by everyone who he encountered in life.
