Dorothy Herrmann

Dorothy Herrmann, 84, of Walsenburg, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011. She was born on June 29, 1927 in Loveland, CO. to the late, Fred and Cora Mier Senn. She married Harold Herrmann, on August 11, 1946, who preceded her in death on November 17, 2008. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert & Art Senn. Dorothy retired as a cook for the Colorado State University. She and Harold loved the Colorado Mountains and fall colors, so they made the move to Walsenburg about five and a half years ago. She is survived by her children, Phillip (Jackie) Herrmann, Plattville, CO., Melvin (Donna) Herrmann, Edgewater, CO., Marilyn (Debs) Kelly, Walsenburg, a sister, Mildred Schroetlin, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. At Dorothy's request, cremation has taken place with interment at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
