CHESAPEAKEElizabeth Skea "Betty" Harrell, 75, of the 4100 block of First Street, went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2008. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jane Peterkin Bremner and the wife of the late Floyd L. "Pete" Harrell. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church..
Surviving are a daughter, Jane H. Destroismaisons and her husband, Brian and a son, Charles Lee Harrell, all of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Parrott and her husband, Josh; Danielle Rawls and her husband, Richard; and Justin Destroismaisons; three great grandchildren, Christian Harrell, Zachariah Parrott, and Sean Rawls; a sister, Jean Hyler of Suffolk; and three brothers, Robert Bremner of Chesapeake, John Bremner of Ohio, and Charles Bremner of Roanoke, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel with Rev. Ernie Myers officiating. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
