Thomas Wartko

Prospect-Thomas Wartko, 81, of 55 White Oak Drive, passed away on December 09, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Dorothy G. (Nemergut) Wartko. Mr. Wartko was born on March 9, 1928 in Jessup, PA a son of the late George and Susan (Pazer) Wartko (Orzel). He was a retired salesman for Bachman Pretzels where he worked for many years. Besides his wife of 59 years he is survived by his two sons, David T. Wartko and his wife Jeanine (Angers) Wartko of Prospect, and Kenneth J. Wartko and his wife Gayle (Conter) Wartko of Doylestown, PA, his sister, Olga Pistey of Stratford and his two grandchildren, Danielle and Evan Wartko. He was predeceased by three brothers, George, Michael and Theodore Wartko and one sister, Marge Perkowski. The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69 Prospect to St. Anthony's Church for a mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
