Russell R. Trimble, 85, a Cashmere resident for over 67 years, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 28, 2010, following an extended illness. He was born on November 22, 1924 at Malta Bend, Missouri to the late John Wesley and Pearl Ethel (Nunn) Trimble. He was married to Lola Welch on March 13, 1947 at Cashmere, where they made their home together. Russell worked as a Edger Man for the Cashmere Lumber Company for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lola Trimble, Cashmere; three children, Mark Trimble, Wenatchee, Gary Trimble, Cashmere and Penny Simmerly, Renton; three grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Commemoration services will be held at the graveside in Cashmere Cemetery on Thursday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael O’Neal officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
