Brendan Andersen

Brendan Kay “Bree” Andersen, a resident of Wenatchee for the past 13 years passed away at her home on March 7, 2014 at the age of 64. She was born on March 10, 1949 to Robert Lee and Ruth Katherine (Hess) Kinsey in Portland, OR, one of six children. She attended elementary school in Portland then junior and high school in Kennewick, WA; she graduated in 1967 and then continued her education at Central Washington University, graduating with a BA degree in Community Health. Bree worked as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor at Transitions in Tacoma, WA. In 1967 Bree married Karl Karlsson in Coeur d’Alene ID; together they made their home in the Tri-Cities, they had three daughters, LaDawn, Sheri and Holly. Karl passed away in 1972. Bree married Kenneth King in July of 1993 and they made their home together in Tacoma, WA; Kenneth passed away in 2006. Bree’s love of music started at an early age, she enjoyed being in the school chorus and drama groups. A natural artist, Bree loved to paint using oils and charcoals. Bree is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Doreen Sansouchi and half sister Carol. Bree leaves behind her daughters, LaDawn Hammit, Delawana, NJ, Sheri Shelton, and Holly Williams both of Tacoma, WA; brother, Lee (Noreen) Kinsey, OK; sisters, Vicki Freeman, Lakewood, WA, Juditha (George) Laguna, San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Stephanie Williams, Tacoma, WA and her four legged friends, Cleo the dog and Willow the cat.
