Bursey, Gordon Leroy (Roy) Bursey - Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes on July 11, 2008, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents, Richard and Alma Bursey, sister Lila, brother Reginald. Leaving to mourn, sisters Stella Button (Garland), Sandra Fisher (Roy), brothers, Roland (Aletta), Leswere (Janice), Leonard (Lorraine). Nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Wendy, Lisa, Wanda, Melanie, Sharon, Theresa, Derek, Garland, Glenn, Jeffrey, Dwayne, Bryan, Keith, Chris, Danny and Jimmy. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of relatives and friends, and special friends Jennifer Corrie of Toronto and Christine Whalen of Trinity. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Visitation on Friday, 7-9, Saturday 2-4 and 7-9. Visitation at Strathie's Funeral Home, Catalina on Sunday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service from Bethany United Church, Catalina on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment at United Church Cemetery, Catalina. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or to a chairy of one's choice.
