ALICE DIETZ Alice Dietz, 99, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Martin Dietz (1980). Dear mother of Norlene Bennewies (Willard), Ruthann Stinson (Walter), Hugh Dietz (Doris), Paul Dietz (Dianne), Barry Dietz (Elaine) and Barbara Higgins (Wayne). Dear mother-in-law of Clare Rolph. She will be missed by her many grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Irene Wassmann and Helen Wassmann. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Emma Wassmann, daughters Joan Rolph (2010) and Lois in infancy, brothers Orval, Carman (Edith) and Floyd Wassmann and sister Velma Thiel (Laird). Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating.
