GARY WAYNE CHAPPELL EDINBURG - Gary Wayne Chappell, 57, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at his home. Gary, born in Refugio, TX, lived in Edinburg, TX most of his life. As a beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he joins his deceased mother and brother with God our Lord in Heaven. He is survived by his loving children, Jacob (Krystal) Chappell, Jolene Chappell, and Justin Chappell, all from Edinburg TX. He is also survived by his father, Charles Hull of Port Mansfield, TX, and two brothers, Robert (Marilu) Chappell and Steve Hull, both of McAllen, TX. Gary also leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Lynnette Chappell, Maxxix Uhrich, Justin Chappell, Jr. and Isaiah Chappell, as well as nephews, Cameron Chappell, Steven Ray Hull, Robert Trace Hull, and nieces, Beth Ann Chappell and Victoria Chappell. Gary is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara Hull, and his older brother, Larry Ray Chappell. Gary worked in auto sales all his life and at one time owned a very successful car lot in Edinburg, TX. He loved and cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing at Port Mansfield, hanging out at pubs with his sons and friends, and he mostly loved doting on his grandchildren. Gary loved life and brought a smile to all those who came upon him. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, October 1, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
