Frederic Bolling

Frederic A. Bolling, age 73, of Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away peacefully with his family at his sideon Sunday March 2, 2014 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. Born January 21, 1941 in Dunkirk to the late Glenden and Mildred Bolling, Fred grew up in Fredonia and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1958. He was a steelworker having worked for many years at Roblin Steel and also later AL Tech where he retired. Fred loved music and dancing. In the late 1970’s he brought his records in for the DJ to play at “The Time Machine.” He was an avid collector of many things, including Elvis and John Wayne memorabilia, but his real passion was collecting records and playing his favorite songs. Fred was also an avid genealogist who loved sharing his photos and articles with his family and friends. He is survived by his children: Timothy Bolling, Patsy (James) Klemens, Catherine (Stanley) Childs, Tammy Bolling Ploetz, Wendy (Daniel) Cassidy, and Cindy (Ronald) Krystofiak.; Step-children: Elizabeth Bonasera, Scott Bonasera, and Michelle Bonasera; Also his grandchildren: Amanda Bolling, Mark Klemens, Ryan Klemens, Shanon Odebralski, Timothy (Sparkel) Odebralski, Crystal Odebralski, Jonathan Skrok, Richard Bailey II, Hannah Bolling, Scott Harrison, Gavin Cassidy, Seamus Cassidy, Chelsey Krystofiak Tauber, Mitchell Krystofiak, Matthew Krystofiak and Michael Krystofiak; step-grandchildren: Nicole (Josh) Jones, James Klemens, Jr., Michelle (Dan) Dankert, Kyle Klemens, Amber Childs, Amanda Childs, Matthew Childs, and Kaitlyn Bonasera; Great-grandchildren: Alissa Ferguson, Jace Bolling, Tristen Peck, Kayin Odebralski, Nyasia Odebralski, Andre Mendez, Oz Odebralski, Pepper Odebralski, Mekhi Odebralski, Abbigale Gonzalez, Ethan Krystofiak, and Eli Tauber; also his step great-grandchildren: Genielle, Jeffrey, Sara, Daniel, and Alexa; and a brother David (Miriam) Bolling; a nephew Jonathan (Donna) Bolling; a niece Jennifer (Chris) Laggini, and 2 great nephews.Fred is preceded in death by his parents Glenden and Mildred (Cave) Bolling and also the love of his life Marybeth Dunlop. Calls may be made Thursday from 3-7 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, where funeral services will follow immediately at 7 pm. Flowers would be appreciated as Mr. Bolling enjoyed his garden and loved his flowers. A private interment will be in the Willowbrook Park Cemetery.
