Rose Anne Martineau

In Loving Memory of Rose Anne Martineau (nee Ouellette) 63 years Monday morning, August 15th, 2011 at Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Gerard Martineau of Wahnapitae. Loving mother of Michel (wife Mylene) of Garson and Sylvie (husband Peter Martin) of Wahnapitae. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Celine, Julie, Valerie and Zachary. Predeceased by her parents Noel and Rita (nee Gagne) Ouellette. Dear sister of Gilberte (husband Fernand Santerre), Jacqueline (husband Paulo Lavoie) , Roger , and Bernard all of Montreal, Ghislain (wife Geralda) of Baie Comeau, and her twin sister Rose-Aline (husband Elide Turcotte) of St-Leon, Gaspesie . Special aunt of several nieces and nephews. Rose Anne was born and raised in Ste-Irene, Quebec. She married Gerard in Amqui, P.Q. in 1966 and together they came to live in Boland’s Bay for 28 years, then to Val Caron for 14 years before coming to Wahnapitae. Her family was her priority and she especially enjoyed the company of her four grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes were the outdoors; fishing and camping, she was an avid reader and also loved to play cards. Rose Anne leaves a rich legacy of love and devotion and will be sadly missed by those who loved her.
