Carol Ann Taylor, 58, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. She was born on February 27, 1961 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Danika Brooklynn Ayers; her maternal grandparents, Alice and Bradford Blow; and paternal grandparents, George and Mary Pruitt. She is survived by her husband of over 39 years, Asa Darrel Taylor; children, Stephen Asa Taylor (Jean), Ashley Dawn Ayers (Daniel), and April Nicole Taylor; parents, George Stephens Pruitt and Evelyn Jeannette Pruitt; sisters, Leigh Pruitt Smith (Raleigh) and Laura Ann Pruitt; grandchildren, Haleigh Rose Sullivan, Christian Marshall Ayers, Jasmine Leigh Taylor, and Juliet Noelle Ayers; niece and nephews, Megan Leigh Smith, Myles Lee Smith, and Chase Alstin Pruitt; and many other cherished family members and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Sturtevant Funeral Home Bennetts Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Olive Branch cemetery.
