Robert Michael White Obituary

Mr. Robert Michael White, age 60, a resident of Belington; departed this life Sunday February 9, 2014 in the Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins.


He was born June 14, 1953 at Clarksburg, WV a son of the late John White Jr. and Martha Lou (Bates) McIntyre. He was twice married, first to Debbie White and second to Beverly White who both survive in Belington.


Additional survivors include three sons: Mike Villipart of New Egypt, NJ, Shawn White of Clarksburg, and Tim Moore of Fairmont; one daughter Shana Healey of Oakland, MD. Also surviving are three sisters Connie Seech and husband Jeff of Belington, Linda Baumgardner and husband Ralph of Belington, Carol Smith of Elkins, step-sisters Jeanie Findley of HI and Jackie McIntyre of Charleston, and 10 grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by: one sister Sharon Everhart, three brothers Homer White, John White, and David White.


Mr. White attended the schools at Allentown, NJ. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Vietnam era. Mr. White was social member of the VFW Laurel Mountain Post 410 Belington, and IBEW Union local #71. He was a former employee of Penn Line Service and Bruce Hardwoods. He was an avid NASCAR and football fan and enjoyed watching the WVU Mountaineers. He was a protestant by faith.


Services have been rescheduled for Saturday February 15th at 3pm from the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Downing Gregory officiating at the request of the deceased his remains will be cremated. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Robert Michael White.
