Thomas C. Buckley

Thomas Cotter Buckley, age 80, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on April 15, 2016, at his home. Thomas was born on February 15, 1936, the son of Howard and Gen Buckley. For 50 years Tom was a teacher, professor, and Associate Dean of the General College at the University of Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Gen; sister, Gwen; and brother, Jerry. Survived by his cousin Bob Rylander; cousin Jim Rylander and wife Mary Jo; and their children, Martha Kennedy (Shawn), Brendan (Laura) (daughter Josephine), Jonathan, and Nathan; Terry Buchholz and daughter, Desa Zraick (George)(son Michael); Marian and John Gruenfelder family; and Kay and Delbert Schettler family. Services: Mass of Christian Burial Saturday April 23, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 29th Street and 32nd Avenue South in Minneapolis. Presiding is the Reverend Joseph Gillespie. Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Prescott, Wisconsin. Visitation: Visitation at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, one hour prior to the Mass.
