Henry J. Gilman

Henry J. Gilman, 82, formerly of Fond du Lac, and currently a resident of Auburndale, FL, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at Winter Haven Hospital in Auburndale. He was born August 19, 1923, in Cranston, RI, the son of Albert and Aline Malegue. On September 6, 1947 he married Kathleen Murphy at St. Patrick's Church in Fond du Lac. Mr. Gilman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Winter Haven, and a former parrishoner of St. Patrick's Church of Holy Family Parish. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #664, and was a veteran of the US Army during WW II. For many years he was a real estate broker for Gilman and Matthew Real Estate in Fond du Lac. Surviving is his wife, Kathleen, four daughters; Kathleen (James) Kempa of Syracuse, NY, Colleen (James) Sheehan of Antioch, IL, Maureen (Martin) Krueger of Reedsburg, WI, and Sister Mary Consolata (formerly Eileen Nazar) of Sauk Rapids, MN, a son, Colonel Henry J. (Cheryl) Gilman, Jr. of Honolulu, Hawaii, 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother, Francis (Mary Ellen) Gilman of Spring Hill, FL, a sister, Betty (Dr. James) Carey, of Wakefield, RI, and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Gilman of Bella Vista, AR. His parents and a brother, Raymond, preceded him in death. Visitation for Mr. Henry J. Gilman will be on Sunday, September 11, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, September 12, 2005, at 9:30 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church. The Rev.
