Wayne W. Morgan

MORGAN, Wayne – of Asheville, North Carolina, age 91, died February 5, 2020. Honoring Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date. He was born January 13, 1929 in Clio, Michigan to the late Clyde and Helen Morgan. He grew up in Clio and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1947. Wayne went to graduate from Wayne State University in 1951. Prior to his retirement, Wayne worked for the Naval Department. He enjoyed the opera, playing piano, and his cat Bo. Wayne was a very loving and gentle man who will be greatly missed. Surviving are: Wife, Carolyn Morgan; Cousin, Roger (Judy) Morgan; He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Garnet, Clyde, and Helen.
