Ashley Brieann Bridges was born October 29, 1989 in Corona, California. Since childhood Ashley was well known for her love of life. She was truly the life of every party and her quirky and hilarious personality was infectious to all. Ashley loved to make others laugh and it came naturally to her. She was outgoing and outspoken, but also caring and loving. Ashley knew exactly who she was and never pretended to be someone else, which was her most admirable quality. When Ashley was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma during her pregnancy and the time came to decide between saving her own life or that of her unborn daughter’s, Ashley never wavered in her decision. Her story of love, beauty, and selflessness has inspired thousands and will continue to for years to come. Ashley has left behind a stunning legacy of motherly love and self-sacrifice. Ashley’s children, Braiden, 7, and Paisley, 11 months, will be able to take solace in knowing their mother was capable of such deep love that she forfeited her own life for her children. After her long battle with cancer, Ashley peacefully passed in her home in Wildomar, Ca. on June 23, 2015. Her last weeks were spent surrounded by family, close friends, and of course her two beautiful children. Even as her health declined, Ashley continued to make us laugh and display love to Braiden and Paisley. Ashley is survived by her parents, Renee Thomas and Donny Bridges; Brother, Nicholas Bridges; sisters, Jessica and Clorissa Bridges; son, Braiden Westendorf; daughter, Paisley Caughey; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
