Katherine (Katie) Taylor

Katherine (Katie) M. Taylor, 79, owner of the Red Dog Saloon of Larimore, ND, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Katie was born July 15, 1935 in Peoria, Il. to Allen and Katherine Dew. Attended school after work at grocery store. Married Marion Taylor in Peoria, Il. Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Marion Taylor and Bill Farrell, and one son, David Taylor. She is survived by John and Mathew Taylor. She was a bartender in Norwood, Il. Moved with her husband, Bill Ferrell, to North Dakota in 1977.Where they operated the Red Dog Saloon and Pink Puppy Café. Funeral will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Larimore, ND, 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Family Prayer Service at 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening. Service will be presided by Rev. Jason A. Darty. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brown Funeral Home in Larimore, ND.
