NIX, Shawn Darlene after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Sunday February 23rd, 2014. Shawn Nix of Belleville, was 59 years of age. Daughter of Muriel Nix (nee Campbell) of Belleville and the late Reginald Nix. Dear sister of Steve Nix and wife Christie of Stirling. Predeceased by her sister Linda Claus. Lovingly remembered by her nieces April Nix of Waterloo, Tara Nix of Ottawa and her nephew Aaron Nix of Stirling. In keeping with Shawn's wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment to be held at a later date at Belleville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588).
