Crystal F. Justus

Crystal Justus 1936-2016 Crystal Justus, 80, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was born July 11, 1936 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Crystal married Frank Justus on October 28, 1951. Crystal’s family was her whole life. She was dedicated to caring, loving, and nurturing her family. She always thought of others before herself, she faced the many adversities in her life with a strong faith and perseverance. Crystal was an excellent cook and believed food could always “cure what ailed you.” She loved to read, complete crossword puzzles, and watch Jeopardy. Crystal raised six children and then went back to school and obtained her GED and then also attended MWSC and excelled in her completion of secretarial coursework. Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Florence (Sybert) Frump; son, Buck; brothers, Marshall and Larry Paul; and her beloved puppy Zoe. Survivors include husband, “Brownie”, of the home; five daughters, Cheryl Robertson (Mark), Vicki Allen (Chuck), Robin Hensley (Dan), Debbie Crist (Roy), and Melody Cross (Paul); thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment, Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
