Diana Sue Wheeland
Diana “Diane” S. Wheeland, 63, of Urbana, went to fly with the angels on Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born on January 17, 1953 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Dewey F. and Lucille G. (Perdue) Casto. Diane retired as a tow motor operator from RT Bundy & Associates in Urbana after 17 years. She enjoyed flowers and working in her garden and especially loved her grandchildren and family and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include her husband, John Wheeland; daughter, Candice (Fraley) Weatherhead; son, Larry Fraley Jr. (Penny); grandchildren, Jennifer Slasor (Vernon), Jessica Weatherhead, Zachary Fraley, Colton Fraley and Stephanie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Izaiah, Lillian, Jayden, Houston Jr. and Kacen; sisters, Deborah Bosler and Becky Shepard; and brothers, Dewey Casto (Mary), Eddie Casto (Sheila) and Roger Casto. She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Marlea, Dorothy, Sylvia, Alice and Barbara. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St, Urbana, OH where a service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 with Rev. Dewey Casto officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with services.
