Betty Trosen, 84, Larimore, ND,died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Altru Health Systems in Grand Forks, ND.Betty was born November 10, 1931in Grand Forks Deasoness Hospital to Frank and Cora Juhlke. She married Raymond Trosen on December 26, 1950in Larimore. They farmed north of Larimore and moved into town in 1974.Besides farming they owned and operated Trosen Implement in Larimore. After closing the implement dealership Betty opened her home daycare service. For 12 years she was “Grandma Betty” to many children. Betty is best known in the area for her “Aunt Sally” cookies and beautiful harbanger embroidery pieces. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Charlie) Halouska, Plattsmouth, NE, son Dale (Jan) Larimore, ND, 3 sisters, Pauline Lee, Lisbon, ND, Eleanor Swenson, Mpls, MN, and Meryl Almos, Moose Lake, MN, Sister-in-law, Peggy (David) Trosen, Shakopee, MN, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond, son David, daughter, Nancy, grandson, Christopher Halouska, and brothers Clifford and Paul. Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, from 4-7 PM with an OES memorial service a 7 PM in Brown Funeral Home in Larimore and Sunday for 1-2 PM in the Arvilla Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, April 10,2016 in Arvilla. Burial will be in the Arvilla Cemetery.
