Lukassen, Maria

On Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. Lawrence Lodge; Maria Lukassen, at the age of 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Everhardus (Willie) Lukassen. Loving mother of Maria Landry, Gerry Lukassen, Ada McKenney (Dennis), Henry Lukassen (Patti Russell), Wilhelmina Lukassen, Anna Montgomery (Barclay), Nadine Rutherford (Stuart) and Lawrence Lukassen (Colleen). Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughters-in-law Ann and Connie Lukassen and by her siblings, Herman, Anna, Willi, Denne and her twin sister Wilhelmina.

Visitation will take place at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Saturday, December 19th after 9:30 a.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 66 Church Street, Brockville, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery with a reception for family and friends to follow at the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre.
