Nowlan, Joan

Passed away peacefully at the Wellington House, Prescott on Friday December 4th 2015. Joan Anna (nee Kirkland) Nowlan, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Lorne and dear mother of Rodney (Dorothy Latimer) and Brenda Morash (John). Dear grandmother of Joshua, Andrew and Sarah. Also survived by a great grandson Dalton and by a sister Sharon Gardiner (Dale) and by a brother Ken Kirkland (Barbara). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Rhea Good; her brother Billy and by her parents Arden and Helen Kirkland.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, December 9th from 11 am until 1 pm when a ceremony celebrating Joan's life will be held in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
