Woods, May Amelia

Passed away peacefully at her home in Brockville on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the age of 92 years. The elder daughter of William David Dinwoodie and his wife, the former Beatrice May Butt, May Amelia was born on January 3, 1923, in London, England. Coming to Canada as a war bride, she is the beloved wife of the late John Edward Woods being married September 27, 1945 in England. Loving mother of David John Woods of Brockville, Lynda Jean Francey and her husband Brian of Stouffville, and Janet Marie MacGregor and her husband Don of Charlottetown PEI. She is the loving grandmother of Jean MacGregor-Moras and Shannon MacGregor and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Jean Lund of England. A private family funeral and memorial service will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, and interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery.
