Entered into rest suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Gerald Hitsman at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife the former Ruby Shanette in March 2015. Survived by his two daughters, Linda Hudson (Bill) and Cathy Casselman. Loving poppy to Kayla. Predeceased by his daughter Janice in infancy.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. A ceremony celebrating Gerry and Ruby's lives will be held at a later date with interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
