George Healy
At the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Annie Healy (nee Sloane). Loving father of Ken Healy (Jane), Leonard Healy (Liz), Gary Healy (Laurel), Stephen Healy (Shirley) and Janice Healy (Jim Kouri). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Shawn, Kevin, Miranda, Erin, Robyn and Kyle Healy, Joshua and Adam Kouri; and by great grandchildren Brittany and Sebastian. George is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Harold (Barb), Arthur (Dorothy), Alice Picard (Clem), Ron (Carol) and Nelson (Barb) as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William and Louella (Lariviere) Healy and by his brother Albert. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A ceremony in celebration of George's life will be held at Wall Street United Church on Tuesday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to Wall Street United Church or the Leeds & Grenville Chapter of the OSPCA will be gratefully acknowledged.
