Mr. Maxwell "Devon" Paul, age 47, of 230 Glendale Dr., Hartwell, GA., passed away April 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born August 24, 1968 in Lakeland, Fl., he was manager of Carter's Lumber Company and of the baptist faith. Devon was a a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and family man. He is survived by; his mother, Mary Weathers Paul, Lakeland, FL his former wife and friend, Crystal Paul, Hartwell, Ga., children, Kayla Wright, Dillon Paul and Andrew Paul all of Hartwell, Ga., siblings, Beverly Paul and Michael Paul of Lakeland, Fl. Two grandchildren Alexa Wright and Zayden Wright also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Paul and his grandparents. Funeral services celebrating the life of Devon Paul will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Two O'clock p.m. in the chapel of Coile-Hall-Spagnoli Funeral Home in Hartwell with Rev. Michael Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
