Galvin, Marilyn (nee Maynard) With broken hearts, we sadly announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nana, Marilyn Marie Galvin in her 80th year. Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on December 12, 2016. Marilyn is reunited with her loving husband, William Galvin. Survived by her children Jim (Karen), Paul (Jacqueline), Cindy, and Mark. The lights of her life were her seven grandchildren, Sean, Caitlin, Alex, Aaron, Liam, Sarah, Maya, and Nicole (predeceased). Marilyn will be missed by many other relatives and friends, including her friends at the Sackville Hill Seniors Centre. Special thanks to Dr. B. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4-9 p.m. with prayers at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (416 Mohawk Rd. E.) on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
