Sandra L. Castro, 59, of Olney, died on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.  Sandy was born on December 12, 1960 in Olney, IL, the daughter of Albert Lee and Ruth Ann (Harmon) Simen.  You left this earth far too soon,Time to fly beyond the moon.Loving mother who did her best,You’ve passed this test now it’s time to rest.Forever in our hearts you will remain.  Sandy was a loving mother. She found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a wonderful friend to so many. In those hearts, she will live on. One of a kind and very special, for those she touched are forever changed.  Sandy is survived by her mother, Ruth; sons, BJ (Michelle) Adams and Tyler Adams and Shania; 4 granddaughters, Destiny Harris, Meeyah Adams, Aryree Adams, and Serenity Adams; 1 grandson; aunt, Kathy (Frank) Bailey; several cousins; and a host of other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Albert "Joe" Simen; grandparents, Roy and Florese Harmon, and Ray Simen and Opal Burns; aunt, Lorraine Walker; and uncles, Gene Harmon and Bob Simen.  Memorials can be made to Claws & Paws. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
