A rosary and Liturgy of the Word Service for Paulette Renee Hutmacher, 66, of Killdeer, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Deacon Bob Zent celebrating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for Paulette will take place at 12 pm prior to the service at funeral home. Paulette passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck. Paulette Renee Ferderer was born April 19, 1952, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Stein) Ferderer, in Mandan. She grew up and attended school in Mandan, New Salem, and Regent. Paulette later made her home in the Dickinson and Killdeer area raising her children, two sons and two daughters. She began  her career working for Northwestern Bell Telephone and then found employment with Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing. After her retirement, she became invaluable for Mulligan’s Catering, offering recipes and advice. Paulette enjoyed playing cards and games of chance. She especially enjoyed cooking and always made sure that everyone’s belly was full. She loved spending time with her family, especially going out to lunch with her brothers, visiting with her sisters when they came to town, and enjoying the presence of her children and grandson. Paulette is survived by her children, Cortney (Drew Hyatt) Hutmacher, Brenna (Christopher Davis) Hutmacher, and Jerred Hutmacher; grandson, Ethan Davis; siblings, Terry (Nancy) Ferderer, David (Laurie) Ferderer, Nadine Morin (Mike Morton), and Lucinda Gehrts, Steven and Randall Ferderer; and sisters-in-law, Beverly Ferderer, Syd (Arnie) Nupen, Judy (Wally) Roshau, and Ruth (Fred) Stroh; brother-in-law, Erick Ragsdale; and son Joel Hutmacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Ferderer and Anna Ferderer Frank; sister, Kathleen Ragsdale; brother, Wayne Ferderer; brother-in-law, Michael Gehrts; and best friend, Marlene Schopp. The family asks in lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Paulette’s Memory.
