Clement Kelaulani Malani Sr., 92, of Hilo, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was born on April 30, 1927 in Laupahoehoe. He was in the Army air national guard, a heavy equipment operator, a security guard, and a Kahu for Laupahoehoe Congregational Church. He was a part of the Haili Choir, Haili Men’s Choir, Alu Like Kupuna program, and Onomea Rangers. Services will be held at Laupahoehoe Congregational Church, 35-244 Kihalani Homestead Rd. Laupahoehoe, HI 96764. On Monday, February 24, 2020, Visitations at 8am, Service at 9am. Burial will be at Veterans Cemetery 2 Hilo, 110 Laimana St. Hilo, HI 96720 at 12pm. Clement is survived by wife Ruby Leilani Malani; son Clement (Regina) Malani Jr.; Daughters Cynthia (Calvin) Malani, Catherine (Todd) Kaide, Carol Malani; 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; numerous Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. Arrangement by Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo.
