Barbara A. Wells, of Terre Haute and formerly of Center Point, IN passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 in Southwood Healthcare Center in Terre Haute. She was born on April 17, 1950 in Lafayette, IN to Stanley and Ruth (Bone) Wells. They moved to Center Point in the early 1950’s. Barbara graduated from Brazil High School in 1968 and Indiana State University School of Nursing in 1979. She proudly worked as a Registered Nurse, retiring from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College after 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends and working puzzles. And she loved her pets, Smokey and Bandit. Survivors include three brothers, Bill Wells and his wife, Donna of Poland, John Wells of Terre Haute and Edward Wells of Brazil; one sister, Sharon Wells of Terre Haute; nieces, Laura Wells, Jennifer Wells and Angie Neville; nephews, W. Scott and Heather, Gregg and Sara and Bradley and Courtney; and several great-nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2020 at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Avenue, Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating.
