Dearly loved husband and best friend of Helen Childs (nee Chalmers), Loving father of Melissa Childs (Cody), of Wetaskiwin, Alberta and stepfather of Jennifer Ramsay (Perry), of Owen Sound, Todd Kruger (Holly), of Stratford and Traci Blair (Derek), of Chatsworth. Proud grandfather of Rylee, Hailey, Brooke, Garrett, Holden, Jessica, Katrina, Erynn, Kollby, Ryan, Sierra, Josh and Katie. Predeceased by his parents, Ron and Sybil Childs. A Celebration of Life Service for Leslie Childs will be held at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gwen Nicol-Macdonald officiating. Following the service, a Come and Go Visitation will be held in the Reception Room. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
