The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Tracy and his family. Ph. 641-844-1234. He was born on June 22, 1957, to Truman Oliver and Betty Jean (Rubenbauer) Rosedale, and resided near Gilman, Iowa.  He attended school in Grinnell-Newburg and graduated from SEMCO High School with the class of 1976.  He married Kathy Sue (Sietmann) Rosedale and together they were blessed with two children, Brett Oliver and Raejean Sue Rosedale.  Throughout his life, Tracy and Kathy raised their children together in collaboration. He later married and cherished Bambi (Paul) Rosedale until her passing on September 9th, 2003.  For the last several years he loved and cared for Lana Anderson and her five children.  Tracy studied at and graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelors in agribusiness and political science.  After graduating he came back home to help his dad, Truman Rosedale, with the family farms near Albion and Gilman.  In addition, he had been driving a grain truck for his cousin, Rick Rubenbauer. He actively served on the Stavanger Church Board and the Marshall County Soil Conservation Board for two terms. Tracy loved to cheer on his Cyclones no matter how they were doing.  He was also a long suffering Vikings fan.  He took pride in his son Brett’s accomplished wrestling career from youth to college. Recently he could be found cheering on his grandchildren in all their activities. Tracy had many friends and treasured them all.  The McGrew family was an extension of his own.  Tracy was a true caregiver and was only a phone call away for any of his family and friends.  Many people will remember his blue truck coming to plow their driveways after a snowstorm.  He never stopped there, he went the extra mile and checked on everyone to make sure they were safe and sound.  He loved hearing from his grandchildren and keeping up with all their busy schedules, hardly missing any activities.  Left to cherish his memory are his children, Brett (Kristen) Rosedale of Albion, and Raejean Rosedale of Marshalltown; grandchildren Lexie Rae, Lilie Jean, Landyn Luis, Traevian Truman, Lincoln Robert and baby Lane Oliver, soon to arrive; mother Betty Jean Rosedale of Gilman; sister Trudie (Tom) Wood of Indianola and their daughters- Julie (Ben) Rodgers, and Jill (Dan) Pepin; Great Nephews Olen and Oliver, soon to arrive; companion Lana Anderson and her children Brett, Alexa (Freeman) Ohrt and their children Briar and Jude, and Noah, Elijah and Riley; Uncle Dick Rubenbauer, first wife and mother of his children, Kathy Rosedale (Bea Klauenberg); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends as well as his church family at Stavanger Friends.  In death he rejoined his father, Truman Oliver, late wife, Bambi Sue, and first cousin and lifelong friend, Gene Hoover.
