<p>Terry Glen “The Guv” Holcomb, 64, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, February 14, 2020.</p><p> He was born November 12, 1955 in Caraway, Arkansas, son of Rev. Billy Joe Holcomb and Melba “Granny” Greer Holcomb.</p><p> Terry had a passion for music. He earned his Associates Degree in Education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a minor in Music. He and his brothers traveled all over the region with their gospel singing group, “The Holcomb Brothers”, from about 1972 until 2019. Terry was known as the Bass of the group with an amazing low vocal range.</p><p> He went to work for Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors in 1980. Known affectionately to his work family as “Jetty”, Terry enjoyed serving families and singing for funerals when requested for over 25 years. </p><p> Terry was known as “The Guv” to many of his friends and family because he found a way to agree with just about anybody regardless of their position on any issue. He almost always had a smile on his face and had a knack for putting a positive spin on any situation.</p><p> He was an active member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and served on the Building and Grounds Committee.</p><p> Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Holcomb; and two sisters-in-law, Patsy Armstrong Holcomb and Karen Duncan Holcomb.</p><p> Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Brenda Williams Holcomb of Pine Bluff; brothers, Bill W. (Brenda) Holcomb of Heber Springs, Mike R. (Dee) Holcomb and Danny J. (Karen) Holcomb, both of Pine Bluff; sisters-in-law, Beth Holcomb of Sheridan and Edna Faye Rittenberry (Mike) of Caldwell, Idaho; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.</p><p> Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Todd Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.</p><p>Memorials may be made to Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.</p><p>The family will be at the home of Mike and Dee Holcomb.</p><p>Arrangements were handled by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors (online register: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com).</p><p><br></p>

Terry Glen “The Guv” Holcomb, 64, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, February 14, 2020.
