Hoyt “Rusty” Samuel Albertson, Jr., age 64 of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020. He was born in Douglasville, GA on July 18, 1955, son of the late Hoyt Samuel Albertson, Sr., and the late Frances Massey Albertson. Rusty loved his family and enjoyed working with his hands and could fix anything. He is survived by his son: Joshua Albertson and his wife, Amber; grandchild: Avery Albertson; sisters: Linda Rowland, Laura Albertson Ruttan, Becky Alexander, Barbara Albertson Bennett and her husband, Bill; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Judy Olds; brother-in-law: Bobby Olds. Per his wishes, he was cremated and the family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 in the Chapel of West Metro Church of God, 3858 Kings Highway, Douglasville, GA 30135. Pastor Garry Tanner will conduct the Memorial Service beginning at 12:30 PM.
